The secure place where our clients and this firm exchange documents, read finished work, sign what needs signing, and settle an invoice.
Savino Client Portal is the private application clients of Savino & Associates use to work with us between meetings. It is invitation only. Our office creates each account from the email address we already have on file and sends the invitation; there is no public sign-up, and nobody can create an account for themselves.
The reason it exists is that tax and planning work runs on documents, and email is a poor place to keep them. A return, the statements behind it, the engagement letter that authorized it, and the invoice for it belong together and behind a login, not spread across four threads and a shared drive.

What is inside
Which of these you see depends on the work we are doing for you. A tax-only client does not get a planning dashboard they have no use for.
Document requests
When we need something specific we post a request for it rather than emailing a list, so what is outstanding and what has already arrived is never in doubt.
Reports
Tax return reviews and financial statement analyses, laid out to be read on a screen instead of sent as a PDF you have to pinch and scroll.
Signing
Engagement letters and proposals are signed in the portal. Both sides get the executed copy and a certificate recording who signed, when, and from where.
Payments
An invoice tied to an engagement can be paid by card from the portal, and the receipt lands in the same place as the agreement it belongs to.
Messages
Questions about a return or a document stay attached to the engagement rather than scattering across an inbox.
Signing in
Your account is created by our office from the email address we have for you. You can sign in with that address and a password, or with the Continue with Google button on the sign-in page.
Google sign-in is offered to invited clients and uses only their name and email address to match their invitation. Nothing else in a Google account is requested or read: not Gmail, not Drive, not contacts, not the calendar. A Google address that matches no invitation is turned away rather than given a new empty account, and you can disconnect the portal from your Google account whenever you like without losing anything in it.

Security
The portal runs at portal.savinoassociates.com, separately from this website. Every page of it requires a sign-in, files are stored so that one client's records are reachable only by that client and by our staff, and the whole thing is served over an encrypted connection.
Sending us a document through the portal is safer than emailing it, which is the main reason we ask you to. Please do not send tax documents or account numbers by text message or ordinary email.
Trouble getting in? Use the Forgot password link on the sign-in page first. If the invitation never arrived, or the address we have for you has changed, email info@savinoassociates.com and we will re-issue it.
